For better or For Worse

I met a retired man with a fulfilled life of love and joy.

His calendar is always full.

Later I learnt Paul is hiding behind busy days, avoidant of time.

His hobbyist world is a distraction from his ever-growing loneliness, as he becomes a caregiver for his fading wife.

He lives now for better or for worse as his wife’s dementia takes hold.
